MY 5 WORST AND BEST EXPERIENCES IN EUROPEAN CITIES 🌏 My explanations 👇🏻

I’ll elaborate on the bad experiences. The countries I had good experiences in you have to just go experience yourself.

Venice - Overcrowded and expensive
(Bit hypocritical coming from a tourist, I know. Still a beautiful city though)

Brussels - People weren’t too friendly and the city has some very sketchy areas.

Paris - Drugs and scammers everywhere
(When I was 10 some dude tried to to scam me by putting a bracelet around me arm and then charging me).

London - Felt unsafe + super expensive

Marseille - Felt extremely unsafe

Let me know about your experiences and if you agree or disagree with me! 👇🏻

Telling Paris is very bad is one of the biggest lie I’ve heard to.

"Venice" does not mean much. You probably visited just the couple of overcrowded islands everybody go.
For example I live in Mazzorbo island, Venezia and we do have just very few visitors each year.

As an Italian, I think that for tourists Venice can be very caothic and confusing, especially because it’s usually very crowded. But, learning how to visit it, Venice is one of the most beautiful cities, with great arts and history and also a lot of hidden but romantic places.
Also, I’ve been living in London for the past few months, and I don’t think it’s that bad. I mean, there are the usual problematics of big cities: always crowded, bad people etc., but, coming from Italy, I always ignored those things and thought they were normal. London is full of fun places to me.
Love, from a Venetian, now living in London.

I’ve been to London and my experience was great, it wasn’t crowded, there was no traffic, the food was amazing, there was no litter on the ground, the architecture there was beautiful, the landmarks were barely crowded and wonderful to see, and overall my time there was really great.

Prague is one of the most overcrowded cities I’ve ever been to, been there twice and would not recommend anywhere to go there (like it’s just as bad as Venice in my experiences). Brussels however was amaaaazing in my opinion.

My recommendation to anyone visiting the UK is tick the big usual sights (Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc) off in one or two days and then get out. Use the London hop on hop off tourist bus as they go to most of the sites in one day.
If you like history try Cambridge, Canterbury, or Glasgow.
If you want nightlife Manchester or Brighton.
If you want ye olde England, York, Winchester or Bath.
If you don’t have time to get out of London then try the areas further out: like Greenwich and Blackheath have a cute village feel with views over London, museums, churches, and open parks.

Perfect! I’m going to Riga in a few weeks☺️ I absolutely agree with Budapest and Copenhagen, and about Prague… what should I say, it’s my home town and I am Czech, we always find a reason to complain😅😅
