Funnily enough it seems to be used in the exact same manner.

For anyone wanting to use digga:
-Digga has no article (So no "a digga" or "my digga")
-Digga has no plural

The problem is, if you start using is, you literally can't stop. You'll be forced to use Digga in every third sentence going forward.

When reading a german text, replace commas with "Digga" and full stops with "Alda" - there you go, you sound 20 years younger or older than you are.

Yeah. I'm austrian and when we went on a school trip to england we got a few weird looks. Only use this word in german speaking countries.

"dicke freunde" literally means fat friends, but its a saying and means best friends. If you are my best friend, you are my "dicker Freund" or in slag just "digga". Its also interchangeable with "Buder" (bro), "Mann" (man), or "Junge" (boy).
"Dick aufgetragen" literally means thick coated, but is also used to describe overdramatic wording. Its a real multi purpose word and definitely has no bad herritage, I swear.

To add some context, it does not actually mean fatty, but comes from "dicke sein" - being close (2 people less space)

I learnt german for a few years before going for an internship in frankfurt.
A colleague called me Digga, and I thought he called me Dicker, and i didnt know much slang, so i thought he was calling me fatty, so i asked him, if he just called me fat, and i got the explanation that its a term of emdearment like "bro", and i felt honoured, but just to be safe i lost 40kg since then. Bryan still calls me Digga tho.
