Sad reality is corruption is worldwide, exists even in the most developed countries. The key difference is in these lesser developed nations, such as Guyana, corruption or more accessible. Unlike in “1st world” countries where corruption is only accessible to the untouchable elite.

My parents were both born there and I was born in Canada. This country was called El Dorado because it's so rich in resources. It's been exploited for centuries. Right now it's the oil that's target number one. The effects of climate change will be seen in a country like Guyana sooner than later. Soon it will be like Atlantis. C'est la vie.
