This angle is making Stoney's mic look comically large.

Around the league it is accepted that OKC young players have improved because of their entire coaching staff, not just the head coach. It is very unfortunate that this young Pistons core is likely not being taught as well and slowing their progression. Dwayne Casey was COY and that offseason he was let go. Not because he demanded too much money, because he wasn't getting more from his players. The evidence has been clear these last 4-5 years. Killian Hayes is really the only player who's improved, and it is far from enough, and since nobody else has, it's hard to assume that improvement is from the coach.

The rebuild is undetermined. This season was a throwaway

You regress by more than 5 games, don’t have extra draft picks, and your only hope is 14% chance to get 1st pick. And oh btw, hope cade is healthy next year and doesn’t miss another 65 games. A lot of uncertainty with this team. Not sure if it’s gonna get fixed anytime soon sadly.

Impossible to know if the restore is working as we don't have a coaching staff that can develop a team for success.

Sadly no. This Pistons team has a few decent pieces but the rebuild lacks direction and the roster construction makes no sense. Time to move on from Dwayne Casey, and Troy Weaver should be on the hot seat if he can’t get this team turned around soon.

Could someone explain to me how Duren is supposed to develop with Wiseman taking his minutes?

Dan has a better culture than Casey so I'd trust Carter more
