History of the Warlock Infernal (Vanilla WoW to BFA)

The infernal is unique for a demon, and that its not actually a demon, and it's more of an elemental. Their bodies are made of stone and then infused with fel magic, making them come to life, but evilly since fell magic was used in their creation.

I have some flashbacks cuz of the stomping they made in populated locations (Legion Dalaran, Org, Storm etc).
Just imagine, chilling in WoW and you hear STOMP STOMP every second.

honestly, i liked doing questchains. i remember how big of a deal getting a fire totem was in BC, and how rewarding it felt.

I named my warlock Infernalord just cause I wanted to only use the infernal, fond memories of going around with it, hearing it stomp left and right. I remember the excitement of watching it's stones start glowing nearing the end of legion. It was there when my guild killed heroic Argus, so you can tell that I held it close to my heart. I farmed gul'dan for the mount day and night, but it never dropped. Then, in BFA, they took away my poor boy. The wrathguard is just not the same. But hey, at least now I can be a real demonology lock with Nether Portal and that sweet Fel Lord.

As a warlock main that green fire boss battle was no joke. Took over 20 attempts but dammit was it ever so satisfying to get green fire and the cool title as well.

Demonology Doom talent. If it lands a killing blow it has 5% chance to summon one. Well... practical chance to see a Doomguard is close to removed from the game...

Also demon hunters got a felhunter mount in their intro questchain. I always wanted to be able to use that mount on my warlock

A note on infernals that's important is that it doesn't break demonic sacrifice since it's a enslaved demon.

Now Shadowlands has implemented a long-time favourite for demonbois, Rain of Chaos. Tichondrius' and Magtheridon's special ultimate ability from the RTS, whenever you spend Soul Shards during your infernal uptime, you have a chance of summoning another infernal. You really notice the big pumping damage once your second and third RoC proc, where your shard generation becomes insanely fast and you can chain cast chaos bolt. Very fun gameplay, although the boring numerologists say it's 0.00015% lower dps and therefore not recommended
