Hobbies are so important for my mental health & I've not been prioritizing them in the last few years as I should be. BUT NO LONGER! This week, I'm trying out 3 hobbies -- 2 new and 1 rediscovered :)
⇨ taking a wheel-throwing pottery class, painting ceramics, and learning how to crochet coasters! LMK if you'd like to see more episodes with more hobbies because I'm having THE time of my life.

Thank you so much for watching! xoxo, Han

This video made me so happy. I always love seeing people enjoy their hobbies and not only focus on the things that they HAVE to do. Our hobbies are a part of who we are and I know how most people ask "what is your job" but I prefer the question "what hobbies do you have, what do you enjoy doing in your free time" 💌

when you crochet, the ends can be weaved in! use the yarn/darning needle and sew the ends throughout the stitches! it's just called weaving in the ends if you want to find a youtube video! you should do it with both of the ends, its safer than knotting, especially if you wash them! it makes them invisible

Watching you crochet reminds me of watching my mom. She would crochet to calm down after a hard day of work. She used to make us blankets. She made my daughter a baby blanket before she passed. I’ll cherish all those blankets forever. Crochet is a great skill.

my gawd, I relate to this so much. I was such a hobby girl in my early 20s and used to paint, write and play instruments. Then I graduated from college, got a job and that was it. Life happened. I forgot what it was like to do things for the soul and truly enjoy them. Thank you for being so relatable <3

My best ever tip I’ve received while my wheel throwing class:
Push your elbows into your hip/belly and kind of thinking like PUSHING the clay away from you. This has the effect, that your arms and the clay is not wobbling around and therefore you get uniform clay items + you’ll have more control.
Hope this helps and lots of fun!!! ❤

Hannah,
I can't state the comfort that your videos bring me. As someone in their early 20s who feels like they have everything (and therefore nothing specific) in front of them, your wholesome candor for life and taking things one step at a time is so refreshing. Your videos are the one part of my self-care routine that NEVER gets skipped.
Cheers to you! Thank you.

Hi Hannah Elise!❤❤❤
In my 20's, one of my favorite hobbies are reading books, creative writing, art, drawing, listening to music, puzzles and taking walks.
I think painting a canvas could be my new hobby.🎨🎨💜
Enjoy your pottery class!❤❤

omg i love seeing people joining in on my favourite hobbies (mainly crochet and i'd recommend using bright coloured yarn for crochet when you're first starting out (definitely not black) and acrylic is ok for coasters if you are not putting super hot drinks on it. i saw someone else comment about weaving in the ends, which is recommended, but other than that you're doing so well for crocheting for the first time!! the basics and figuring out how to simply hold the yarn and hook is the hardest part - it only gets better from here!
