I was really worried that my base ps4 would become incapable of late gen games, but I took a risk with keeping it (I have PT installed lol). I'm happy to say I don't regret keeping the base version! I think this is the last game I'm playing on ps4 unless there's something I'm forgetting about :)

I can see many people in the comments don't appreciate the beauty of 4K. Trust me. The first time you experience 4K on a big TV over 1080p, it looks *infinitely* better.
4K is just so much sharper, I'm having a hard time using my base 1080p PS4 on my 55" 4K TV since I started playing PC 4K 60FPS games on it..

Obviously when they have a frame rate mode it doesn't necessarily mean a game boosts to 60fps. It will prioritize 30fps making the stutters less. So to say you think its pointless is pretty daft.
Also the resolution is boosted on the pro but its not mind boggling as "infinitely better" would imply. The particle effects are in the PS4 version just the same so Im not entirely sure what you guys were getting at. You can see even in your shots that the mist effect was taken at different stages of its animation but the mist is clearly there so you might want to rethink.
The game hardly looks that different.

The way you describe the difference, is like saying yeah the Toyota is good but not as amazing as the Ferrari. I mean all I see is a bit sharper detail on PS4 pro and more particles. They both look amazing. I would say it's like comparing a Toyota Land Cruiser to the Lexus 570. Same car just nicer details
