Bun Tea Thyme, you might find a local gardener or farm to take the used litter off your hands for fertilizer rather than trashing, it is quality stuff for them!! This is a great method, you inspired me to switch from heavy and expensive pellet litter and my 15 lb flemish house giant is much happier, thank you for posting this!! 💞🐇🌿⭐

Getting my first rabbit in a couple of days. How do I know which size litter box I need for 3 1/2 lb lionhead rabbit? Some of the sides are very high.

I must say that's an impressively comfortable litter box for bunnies. But from a bunny mom to another, I'm not sure if the hay which looks like horse hay is safe for the bunnies to be on. I buy liners and put the ink free litter pellets at the bottom and put the fresh Timothy Hay in a bag hanging over n.i.c grids. There's no mess at all when she jumps out. The odd pellet here and there but it does keep the litter box clean and fresh for at least 4 days and it's probably the same price as what you're doing but I was doing that at first and if she soils the hay too much I found it smelled after day two.

If I only use wood pellets for their litter will it be painful for their feet to step on?

What litter pellets are you using ? Also does this really cut the smell down ? I saw you said you only clean it out twice a week . You keep adding fresh hay tho right ?

How do you preserve the hay so the majority of it isn’t getting peed or pooped on? And how do you keep Lennon from sitting in soiled areas while he eats? What are your thoughts on sifting litter boxes?

Isn’t that a small litter box for two bunnies? I have one about that size for my one bunny. I thought they need a big one from all the research I’ve seen maybe not as I just got a bunny so I may not know that much but if it’s not too small that’s awesome because then I can probably downsize since it’s a very tight squeeze in my room where I have her litter box in the corner.

Bunnies hate the smell of vinegar. Just line litter tray with training pad which absorbs the urine and makes everything easy to dispose then top with hay

How long would a 20 lb Feline Pine bag last? What about the 40 lb wood stove pellets? I have a 2lb dwarf bunny and I change his litter every 2 days. His litter box is 12in x 10in. 😊

I’m running out of my current litter (aspen) and need to know which product is worth it since I do live in a student apartment for the next 6 months and I wouldn’t wanna buy something that’s too big to carry when I move unless it’s worth it. So if anyone could let me know how long they last you I’d greatly appreciate it! 💞

Honestly, I often feel lazy to clean the litter box every day. Also i dont like to directly touch the soiled hay..there should be other rabbit litter box option out there that could help..like this comment if you feel d same..
