Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley has responded to the announcement by his bandmates that they have quit the band. The Every Time I Die singer shared a cease and desist letter sent to him by his bandmates.

How could it not be messy? They’ve been more consistent than nearly any metalcore/hardcore/southern metal band among their peers, they had a legendary run and every album was pure fire

I think its much more than the “his friends abandoned him” like people are saying on here. Nobody should be picking sides. We don’t know the full story, details, or what goes on behind closed doors. We should just be rooting for a revival and not picking sides

As a long time musician and alcoholic who is now over three years sober I really hope that these gentlemen find it in their hearts to have a seat and just listen to each other and realize that they are all on the same team and want the same things for each other. I remember meeting the entire band at a gas station on the way to Metallica's Summer Sanitarium show in 2003 (they were going to watch the show as well)

Thanks for posting a story from someone besides just Corey Taylor or Korn or 5 finger death punch. In order for rock to grow and thrive we need to shine light on more bands besides just the big popular ones

This is my favorite band of all time.. I'm beyond heart broken. But I hope that Keith finds his peace. I love this band.... 😔 I know Keith has been going through a lot of hell lately. Through losing his sister, going through a divorce and constantly trying to juggle tour with his bands.. I would break down as well.

DAMN...my first show at 14 was Misery signals, ETID, Zao, and Dillinger. I've seen them numerous times over the years and literally just bought tickets for the Underoath/ETID/Spiritbox show. I surprised my friend with a ticket and he told me the news. Loved this band. They were one of my original favs. I'm not taking any sides in this, because I know there are 2 sides to a story and there is damage control on both ends, I just hope things can mend.

Heard from someone close to one of the guys that Andy was having a discussion with Jordan about finding a replacement for Keith HOWEVER this was only meant as a replacement if Keith's car broke down or didn't show to the venues on tour since Keith was driving separately from the band. This was at the same time Keith and Jordan were reportedly not seeing eye to eye. Also Keith got divorced and is handling his sobriety now and the new woman he is with now might not.have been getting along as was hinted in an interview that I believe Keith did with Revolver when he was in a car with her. Regardless situation sucks.
And though it was brief, it meant everything.
