The scripts were excellent but Roger's delivery and timing was (in the words of Del) 'magic'!
RIP 'Trigg'.

I like when everyone's cheering for Cassandra and Rodney about their wedding and they all shout 'Cassandra and Rodney!' And then you hear Trigger finishing off with "Dave!"

Trigger was a legendary character, every one of the main characters in the show was legendary. Just shows the genius of John Sullivan. We will never see tv like this again. Most comedies on tv these days aren’t even 50% as funny as it original as this. It’s a shame it couldn’t have lasted forever. But it never gets old no matter how many times you watch it so in a way it will.

Not an obvious choice but the scene where Del Boy falls through the bar is my favourite Trigger moment. It's brilliant physical comedy from David Jason however Trigger's reaction when he turns around and can't see Del Boy is priceless.

Trigger was a legend, he gave us many good laughs and how he kept a straight face when Del fell through the bar I will never know, absolute genius. My favourite is the Why Ask scene in the pub when Mike the barman said "My missus said to me 'where are you living now'? And I said 'here' and she threw my suitcase at me" after which Mike, Boycie, Del and Rodney all go "Why ask"? Trigger then pipes up "Why ask"? Top class, what a genius.

Every episode Trigger was he added 25% more laughter. I like the one where he says about Gandhi made one film and never seen him again.

"Tell us the truth. Are the police looking for these?"
"No they're not, Del. And that's the truth."
"Why are you hiding them under the table, then?"
"Coz you never know when they're going to start looking for them, do ya!"
😂😂😂
