Am I the only one who would like to see these campaigns in reverse? A young Chaos Champion who enters a crusade of destruction on a mission from for example Abaddon, with the potential of during the campaign becoming pure in his faith again, or simply delving deeper into the warp. Of cource it works with the same company system, levelling, wargear etc. as in DoW2/CR, not like in cheap-ass Retribution.

um...yeah they are, that quote is definitely about the blood ravens it says, "the ravens of blood are lost and seek knowledge", the blood ravens (ravens of blood) are known for looking for ancient artifacts/technology. They also have a higher than average amount of psykers in their midst, a trait that only the thousand sons legion had. This evidence points to them being descendant from the thousand sons, no cannon says anything that could allude to them being from the sons of Horus.

@Mess7739 Yes, many have speculated the Blood Ravens are an offshoot of the Thousand Sons. Besides the fact that the Blood Ravens have a differetn trim (black rather than gold) they even wear the same Pre-heresy armour. Both chaptes / legions were mastered by psykers, and both produce higher amounts of psykers than other legoins / chapters. And the Blood Ravens have no knowledge of their origins.

It would've been nice if there was different missions depending on your corruption level. I mean why would you even kill Ulkair or a traitor (be it Avitus or someone else) if you yourself are fully Corrupted?  I honestly think killing Gabriel and the rest of the loyalist Blood Ravens would've been more fitting if you are fully corrupted.  Sure there's always the possibilty to have to kill a Chaos Lord merely to   usurp power or something but is a Chaos champion guaranteed to have a problem with a greater Daemon? Well only one fully committed to a particular rival god would do such a thing I.E Tzeentch followers vs Khorne Followers. IDK if Nurgle has a particular rival god though but if anyone knows who his direct rival is; let me know :)

And don't forget, his sitting on the throne also keeps the human webway on Terra closed. Even if he fully healed himself, he would probably just continue to sit on the throne to keep the webway closed and guide warp travel using the astronomicon.
