Many people make mistakes when buying a Campervan. Today I discuss how to prevent these mistakes from happening. How you can buy a campervan that suits you, your tastes and your needs, without making costly errors.
A campervan to start enjoying the outdoor lifestyle or van life is something you should enjoy many adventures in, not endure. Make sure you buy the right one.
Do you need a campervan or a motorhome or possibly even a car with roof tent will be suitable.

Let me know what you have or what you would like to buy if you had the money.

Next month it will be the NEC Camping Caravan and Motorhome show and it will be interesting to see what will be on show.

Whether you have a T5, VW T5.1, T6, T6.1 or even an older T2, T2.5, T4, the VW Vanlife scene is amazing, with so much help and assistance available for whatever project you wish to attempt. Panel van, Kombi, Converted Camper or VW California Beach or Ocean, enjoy the freedom van life brings.

The @Staycation Lifestyle van conversion is coming along.

I bought a VW Transporter T6 Kombi Highline van 140bhp diesel SWB with tailgate.

I have lots more to do though, I have a new electrical system, using Victron components and a Lithium LIFEPO4 battery, so I obviously need to install some power devices. I have a new sound system, with Focal speakers and ibus 2.1 amp, Playstation PS4, which is removable, TV's on headrests.

Lots for me to look forward too and it would be nice to take you on the journey.
Vanlife is amazing, get out and explore, it's a great adventure.
There are many great camper adventures to come

Thanks must go to the following:
Transporter HQ for my tailgate struts

Amazon Audible is great for listening to books on longer journeys, I have used it for years.

The new VW Transporter and new VW California Ocean are being released

The biggest error/comment I have seen/heard is people buying a van and working on it for ages to make it 'perfect' and not spending a night away in it. Let's face it, an empty van is 100 times more comfortable than a 0.5mm semi-weatherproof tent.

Hi Steve, I've just got home from a lovely weekend in Southwold away with the van and the wife again. Last weekend, i was at a volkswagan festival, and the weekend before that i was in Dorset and Norwich with the van, i certainly do get about a bit with my kombi camper. And 4 weeks ago I was touring around Ireland. I have made a conscious effort to get as much use out of my van as possible. It was an extremely expensive purchase and i wasn't going to let it live on the driveway and get used a handful of times a year .in just over 2 years we have travelled 30, 000 miles and in the last 2 weekends ive covered 645 miles .my van doesn't turn a wheel Monday to Friday its a weekend getaway and holiday vehicle. I have so many holidays now its crazy it feels like i do 5 days then disappear at the weekends. It's by far the best decision I've ever made. My life is so much better now my mental health is better too .dub life is life, and im living my best life ever .?I ?can't believe it took me so long to get a transporter. My Van Haven built t6.1 t32 204 dsg lwb highline kombi camper swamper is my dream vehicle ❤ i can't see a day when i won't have a transporter

Hi there, I love your videos. What do you have in mind when you say that you need a full camper? Are you thinking of something bigger or a Cali Ocean?

Bed and insulation are the most important things. My VW LWB has fridge, hobs, 240v sockets, toilet, 4 beds, table seating. Cost a lot of money, but ultimately bed and bottled water is all thats needed, and maybe the heater 😂

Is this correct in your opinion?

Omg. You talk a lot of sense but just because you own 2 cameras don't do this angle switching it's so amateurish and annoying
