Is this the final conversion design? It felt a bit strange to see the gear shift lever button facing left and reusing the Tundra lever as is instead of using the LC300 for RHD conversion.

Petrol here in my area of Arizona is 2.12 aud per litre. How does that compare in your area ?

Question: How is the payload measured? Is it with a 1/2 tank of fuel and 4 ppl (100kg per person) in the cabin and then 600kg load? or is it a dry tank, no ppl loading?

To be honest I can never understand why a truck/Ute that size that can to so much cannot carry 1.5 tonne in the rear, with full fuel tank and 400kg ppl loading factor.

A 600kg payload is a joke. Add your 4.5t trailer with its 450kg down ball load and you've got enough leftover for a driver a diet sandwich.

Another LHD import, rebuilt to RHD by Walkinshaw in Victoria and flogged out at triple the cost compared to the USA and spare me the BS of oh but it’s special, its the exact same vehicle as the 300 series cruiser, built in Texas, so yes it can be built as a factory RHD and sent straight to showrooms saving Australian consumers their hard earned dollars. Australians need to wake up and realise Ram, Chevy, Tundra,
eventually the Titan, Camaro etc are all being imported and converted by Walkinshaw and reviewers are leaving you thinking they are factory direct. We aren’t paying over $100 plus K for quality, we are paying all the tax and rebuild costs before the commercial sale price at the dealership.

All the inconvenience of a large vehicle for nothing if it can only carry 600kg. A bag of lime for a farm weighs a tonne. A bag of chook pellets weighs a tonne. A bag of fertiliser weighs a tonne. It’s got the wheel base and axle width and the engine, but the structure of the back end must be weak as water. Please Toyota, make a real vehicle for real people, not wannabee show offs. Take the ‘TOY’ out of Toyota and make it real and don’t call it the Tundra, call it the Toyota Strength. ‘Tundra’ for a name means nothing. And make it AWD like a Subaru, much safer.
