The monitor is slow compared to all other monitors with same specs due to Web OS (Smart), if you are looking to buy a monitor to function as a TV more then its good.
The speakers do not have base but the volume is extremely nice.
It is a VA panel display and not IPS.
I think the brightness is high even though specs-wise it is low. I tend to work in an environment that has 'curtains on' level light, and it is too bright in that situation even when I set the brightness of the monitor to 0.
Also, in the Youtube app, you cannot type using your mobile. Mobile Keyboard is not supported for some apps, so you will need to type using magic remote.


I will not recommend this for daily 9-5 work or gaming, but only for TV-like purposes or some light work that does not require speed typing or clicking.

I am returning this just to replace it for same specs without Web OS but with IPS Display.
Probably buy 32un880 or 32bn880u.

I just bought the LG 32UN880 last month for $549 and have seen it vary in price, as low as $499. That IPS panel is WAY better than this VA panel. Brighter, HDR10, IPS, etc. Better in every respect unless you absolutely need the "Smart" apps built into your monitor, which seems like a bad idea to me.

VA panel seems like a miss, I have my LG IPS 27 UN monitor would not change it for this mainly because of the VA panel. love the stand though ...

Interesting history: webOS was developed by mobile phone company Palm, was later sold to HP, then languished for a few years, before making its way to LG as a TV operating system.

Tim, Great video! I love how much detail you put in with out any BS. It sounds like you really like the way the Mac looks on the monitor. I've got a 32" BENQ 2K monitor and love it but really can't stand to be able to see individual pixels on the screen. Especially the TXT. I use the monitor to do CAD for work so I want to really sharpen up my resolution. Will this monitor deliver for me? Also, Does the stand have an option to drill a hole in my desk and use that stand? The edges of my desk probably won't allow the clamping. Thanks!!!!

I recently purchased an LG 32SQ700S-W monitor, connected a Mac mini M4 to it, everything works fine, but there is a nuance that is annoying in the process of using it: when the computer is locked, the monitor goes out for a couple of seconds, and then starts showing a slideshow of standard pictures with the inscription " No signal". The Mac is connected via Type\ - C to Type\ - C, LG technical support doesn't want to help, just says that it is connected to the device connected to it. But they can't explain what kind of slide show it is and the inscription "No signal". All this is more like a TV set, which is not connected to the antenna. The monitor goes dark, and the slide show only takes 15 minutes, and there is nowhere to shorten this time.

Thank you for the review. Can you check if the Game Mode has an Ultrawide option like the M8? Other than the lower brightness, this looks so much better than the Samsung m8. Tizen OS is terrible, and the smart features only work half the time

I just bought the same monitor but I can’t connect to the Internet. I just have the one cord for it plugged into the power source I’m trying to hook up to my wi-fi wirelessly. do I need to use the HDMI cord to plug into something else in order for it to work.? Maybe I messed up on the initial set up. I really don’t know. I bought it through Amazon and I don’t wanna have to return it. I’m begging for some help.
