IMPORTANT UPDATE: if you have 3 reserve mods and you load in fresh, doing this to break the buttons will refill your reserve by 1 on death. Each time you wipe, just reload.

I mean it doesn't "kill" him it just let's you do a damage phase early

The trick is you gotta be dead a certain amount of time before shots that you fired will count. It’s like how certain bosses that can be predamaged tick immunes for a bit after you die, then start working

A salvo of slow Nova Bombs and then eating it before rallying. The old Taniks solo strat that took almost 3 hours with almost 40 nova bombs before starting the encounter in final stand.

Funnily enough we had to use this since the boss glitched out after damage phases but we only discovered this glitch when seeing if others were reporting it

If my LFGs can’t ad clear for 30secs making me orbs while I run and break glyphs, I’ll use this option.

Meh. All this does is allow you a free damage phase, but that won’t kill the boss. You’ll still have to play it out once that phase ends.

Bungie please don't patch this, it's the best way to test damage rotations now, I don't have to do it on grasp of avarice, or if you do patch this, please make a place where we can practice rotations that won't kill us so easily
