Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 the BEST new luxury midsize SUV to BUY?

FIRST DRIVE: The GV80 is getting some big changes from Genesis for 2025. On the outside you will notice and all new front fascia, Genesis badge, updated wheels and a color called Storr Green. On the inside you will be welcomed by an upgraded interior, Nappa leather and 27in of infotainment/digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that produces 375HP & is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 the BEST new luxury midsize SUV to BUY?

I’m sure someone’s already pointed it out… But in the center consul, that’s the upper tray. It comes out and it’s actually very deep and wraps forward.

I traded in my new rav4 for a 2022 gv80 and so glad I did. Now I look forward to waking up in the morning to look outside at my beautiful vehicle rather than that boring rav4. Not knocking them but every second vehicle on the road was a rav4 and I just needed something to spice things up and the gv80 did it for me.

Joe, thanks for your great review! I think that you may be mistaken on the front armrest storage bin. That shallow top tray comes out and there’s tons of storage underneath the tray.

Joe…just FYI…your ZonK on the armrest compartment size has a little catch, if you go back you will notice that top tray lifts up exposing a Grand Canyon size storage space…your not the first to miss this
