its seems it is common that many think the book is absolutely awful and charity shops are flooded with copies of it that no one buys

This woman has fear of commitment or is impulsive and doesn't think things thru to see if potential spouse is a good match or a warm bed partner.

Is there a term for the compulsive use of euphemisms? You'd think a writer could find the word lesbian out of their vast vocabulary, but she can't.

Utterly horrendous book, awful! and she was so entitled and whinny, came across as spoilt, I could not continue reading it and is the only book I have ever stopped reading and returned to the library; where the librarian not only agreed with my comments but said so many other people had said the same thing too. The only reason is was a success was because of the way it was marketed including with a heap of reviews at the front of the book, (apparently the trip was being paid for by her publisher who was her employer at the time and then marketed it and published it - says it all - this book would not have been a success otherwise of the I am certain
