Ack I grew up on Redondo and Torrance Beaches, that bike path, Palos Verdes in the distance...Redondo Beach Pier and King Harbor, Riviera Village! I left in 1987 so it's a little different now ha! Thank you so much for posting this video!

I was at Redondo Beach last month for a night breaking up the journey from French Polynesia back to England. Lovely place with lots of local families on a Sunday. Great video Chris and Travelling Princess

So sad that the Redondo Fun Factory closed down. It was right across from Quality Seafood Market. Childhood memories were made there. Traveling Princess would’ve loved it. ❤️

This place has really grown up since I was visiting my dad who lived here in the mid-1970s. My stepbrother, brother, and I used to walk there almost every day. We all got arrested one time for pier climbing under the pier. $15 dollar fine for each one of us. We were looking for sinkers that got wrapped around the cross members. Used to body surf inside the horseshoe. Ate at the restaurant where Batman was trying to get rid of a bomb in the 1966 Batman movie. Watched guys jump off the pier diving for coins. Used to be a huge arcade behind the parking lot and a WWII submarine to tour too. Some great summer days there that's for sure.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the Redondo Beach tour. The hotel is great and the room is nice. Such a great family friendly beach with lots of activities to do. I agree that the you picked the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunset. The food ant the hotel looked so delicious. . The best part for me was watching you eat the sea urchin. I was so jealous watching you enjoying that sea urchin. A great place for a staycation. Take care.
