If that actually happens basically everyone on the Isles who can’t fly (or doesn’t have a palisman) is dead. Though he’s only possessed things that are smaller than him so far so maybe it can’t be done by him yet

I mean, for a "dead" titan. The heart is beating in his throne room. He has slowly been possessing it for years and years. I am guessing it is his last ditch effort. My guess is the titan trappers will eventually be convinced by the mad lad (Collector) to go after the Belos titan and then they team up with the main cast crew and its an epic battle of magic and hopefully tons of fps.

He can only possess what’s living. The bones are what happens to anything/anyone that got taken over by Belos. It’s why Hunter has got more and larger scars now after he was possessed.

I keep seeing this theory but the problem is the titan is not in the best condition for Belos to be using as a makeshift body. Even more so after the Collector got out. We still don't know what condition the Boiling Isles were left in after they built their owl house. Unless Belos can also magically regenerate the damage to the titan itself when he possesses it, it would be equivalent to riding around in a derelict car.
