This was a lot of fun. I’ve always like greg, but after recording with him, I actually think he might be my favorite YouTuber. Very down to earth and REAL. A rarity if you ask me. Even if you’re keto and feel like you’re betraying the “keto community” by following Greg, think again, because THIS is how you really learn. Take tidbits from EVERYONE. Not everyone is right all the time. We are all wrong and we are all learning. It takes people like Greg that are willing to stop and listen. Amazed by his professionalism.

Refreshing to hear a Keto person with a rational way of thinking instead of just saying it’s all Keto and nothing else attributed to the weight loss.

Honestly, I think onenof the best parts of Greg doing these talks, podcasts, whatever you want to call them, is his listening skills. You can see he genuinely cares about what the other person is saying. He isnt just listening to repond, he is learning and you can see it on his face. This isnt a back handed compliment or sarcasm, I mean this genuinely. Greg is honestly super awesome.

Thomas is 100% respectful in hes reply. We might differ in opinions, but we can still talk like civilized man. This is the good way of showing disagreement. Rather than making nitpicking/strawman videos, this is much better. Respect for both.

Thomas is insanely knowledgeable. It’s crazy to see Greg and Thomas having this collaboration. It’s awesome to see.

The hardest thing about keto and intermittent fasting BY FAR is hearing friends and family members say how restricting it is. Yes, it's restricting if you can't cook. It's restricting if you go out to eat every day. It's by far what got me to take better care of myself and appreciate my body more.

Kudos to Greg for carefully listening to someone from a perspective he disagreed with. I'm sure many people- keto or non-keto can learn something from this conversation. I think Thomas has reached the correct conclusion- anaerobic exercise appears difficult to reach peak performance in without carbs- whereas aerobic seems more manageable on pure keto.

My two diet gurus together at last. Thanks for helping me lose 65+ pounds while gaining muscle!

Don't think of intermittent fasting as a "diet", it's a lifestyle that includes "how you MANAGE your diet". CICO for life 🥰

I rarely comment on your videos but... I must say.... you are "The man" thank you so much for doing a great work bringing true, real talk about nutrition to youtube without bs.

when i was keto i had zero cravings but i felt guilty all the time going over 20 net carbs from just veggies lol. Now i just eat within a calorie deficit and losing weight just as fast. if you ever wanna look leaner for like a week then you can do keto to drop like 5lbs+ of waterweight and be depleted

Thomas is one of my favourite Youtubers. Many reasons- His info, the way he delivers it, his physique, etc., but most importantly his non-defensive attitude. I’m not on a Keto diet (vegetarian lol), but I always watch Thomas to learn lots, and add to my lifestyle.
He said it best in his comment on the video. Go to all camps and gather as much information and then put your mind and apply what you think will suit you the most

This is what the YT community should be like. Learned a lot about both perspectives. Very informative from 2 people that share information very well.

Glad to see this collaboration! I tried Keto for 1.5 years and had success in weight loss, but it did mess up my ability to train as hard as I wanted. I stayed less than 50 grams of carbs a day including fruits and veggies. I came off Keto and started back on the simplicity of calories in and calories out. I am able to train hard and continue on my journey with more energy. Hope to see more and Thomas collaborate.

I did Keto and I wasn't hungry despite the calorie deficit but emotionally I wanted to get carbs. Hope that makes sense.

I am very fond of Greg's shouting voice but his normal voice is so cute!

I lost 50 pounds (220 to 179 at 6'1) by doing half assing Keto. It works. It's anecdotal, I get it. But it's worth looking into.

Once I lost the fat, I kept a healthier diet. Haven't put on weight since.
