I could see this being popular with electricians or PC builders.

Wow, as a computer guy, this would be awesome for cleaning out PC cases and rack cabinets! Nice!

Thanks for the detailed review. With all your Makita tool reviews, Makita should be be giving you tools to review. I can only imagine how much money you've spent on this channel.

This is great for drying small things — water bottles, jewelry that’s gone through an ultrasonic cleaner, watch bracelets… all those things small or cramped things that you can never dry completely with cloth.

Very excited to pick this up and stop buying cans of compressed air for the small stuff around the house!

I hope there will be an LXT model, it would be great for exhaust fan grilles.

Looking forward to this if it gets released in the states. I’m tired of wasting money on air can dusters.

Reading through the comments, seems some are totally against this tool. Interesting. I can't wait to get ahold of one. I use my compact blower, like the one you compared this too, all the time. It's usually within arm's reach. Remodeling houses for a living, this tool would have a million and one uses, in my opinion.
I've had an idea for awhile now: for larger tools like tablesaw I want to install a length of hose leading to the inside where saw dust can get clogged or just piled up. I would zip tie the hose in place. Then, when needed, just attach this blower (or another) to the hose and, well, blow!
The ability to blow out holes for for concrete anchor installation with this would easily be worth the purchase. IN MY OPINION. I don't want to get anyone all pissed off at me in the comment section now.
As always, thanks for the review. Yours is definitely the go to channel for new makita stuff. It's great to have a preview of tools to come, and then wait 6-12 months to finally purchase one. Yep.

I will definitely buy an 18v model purely for chemset holes and cleaning tools.

This would be the perfect tool to clean those dust in my rotary hammers' chuck, I've been using my 18V Makita compact blower to do those kind of stuff but it just isn't compact enuf

I have a large compressor (exterior, thus, quiet) running all of the time at work, and so the blower tip works great. But man, what a great tool for someone who wants to ditch a compressor for blowing out! Great review, and thanks.

I want this now!!! The fans are quiet I've got the smaller one. No problem

Tip for your washer filter. My guess is that you use fabric softener and that stuff is sticky in filter. Try using dish soap, that should do the trick.

I love my 40V duster. I use it all the time to clean everything. Even for drying the crevices in the bodywork of my car after a wash, lol

Great video. All fingers and toes crossed for an 18V version as soon as possible.

Wish this was available in the UK right now !! Main use for me would be blowing out the crap from the van after grinding &
blowing myself down etc. I'd go for the 40v definitely, but 18v if no other choice.

Build a compressor box and line it with the cheapest sound dampening you can find...massively reduces the ear damage...keep up the good work and vids mate. Surely Makita could make an 18v version for us

I love my little 18v Makita blower. I use it all the time. This one looks promising.

Since I subscribed to this chanel I've bought more Makita tools than I've got storage. At least now I can use them to build an addition to sort that out.
BTW I've recently bought the XGT powerhead UX01G with the brush attachment and although it's a good workout operating one of them it really does a good job cleaning up pavement. Brushes all the weeds between the cravices with ease without blowing all the sand in the joints out like a pressure washer does.
