There's no official default password for Hikvision cameras and recorders with new firmware, and you have to create one during the first setup.

For old devices, you can try using the default password 12345.

Hello. My phone broke but I still have the same mobile #. Do I still need to reset my dvr or can i just set up my new phone with the same mobile to view the cctv?

Can't they just be reset by pressing the reset button on the camera itself?

Useless....should able to reset the camera by pressing the button on the circuit board when booting up the camera
