No need to set the step forward / back shortcuts. Hold down K and press L or J to step forward and back.

Match frame will not work if the clip has been used multiple times or the clip has been sped up, so in and out points might not match the clip you’re trying to sync.

i edit reaction videos for living, i can confirm these all tips are super helpful. i use all of it on daily basis. the only thing that gives me extra speed is i don't use mouse, i have a pen tablet. trimming footage on mouse if it takes 2 hours, pen tablet cut it down to 45min. i am not even kidding. yes it will take time at first to get adjusted but trust me once you get used to it, u won't touch mouse again.

Not trying to sell anything here. I have a lot of these mapped to a Contour Shuttle 2, it has a a decent feeling jog wheel and a few configurable buttons. It has some factory preset for Premiere
