My best advice for you is to bind your edit button on xbox, to the right joystick press, then bind the left joystick press to reset. Also, remember to make the edit hold to 0.00.1 and then put the setting "confirm edit on release" on. After that try get used to it, and you'll see a cool difference. I've tried to do this on PS4 and it works too.

F is my main edit bind but I also use E sometimes

I recommend left stick pushing down as your edit bind, if you haven’t already, use custom binds because if you use it, then that means the hold to edit is not there, so it is just a tap to edit like pc.

just a tip ryft, you can use LS (Left Stick) to edit. I use it and its great. Hope this helps if you ever do this idea again!
