I just started giving my 8-year old an allowance too. My husband and I felt that $10 every two weeks was appropriate and split it up in smaller denominations. We are hoping to teach her to manage her money responsibly by having a save, spend, and give. Good luck!

Love the new envelopes… i have two boys 9 and 5…. For their allowance i round up so 9 year old($10) and 5 year old ($6)

It takes $45 to fill up my truck with these high behind prices! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm starting an allowance fund for my daughter as well and I think I'm going to do the age equivalent amount...she's 11 so I will give her $11 every two weeks, so she will have at least $20 each month.
