I started with a few Poland Culture reaction videos, then did some Poland History Reaction videos and I am doing now also Poland Comedy Reaction videos.I was impressed by the Polish Army in comparison to the German Army. And maybe want to do a Polish Rap Reaction in the future. I love to react to poland and do polish music reaction videos. I already did an unconquered reaction.

Don't worry about the "czech" part, it has nothing to do with Czechia. It's just declination for you:
nominative (Germany): Niemcy,
locative (in Germany): w Niemczech.

Fun fact- Niemcy can be roughly translated as "the mute ones/ those who don't speak". When the ancient Slavs met the Germanic people, they couldn't understand their language, so they just started calling them "those who can't speak" XD

In Poland we call Bayer and Munich, "Bawaria" and "Monachium". Those are a roman names of this places, but it is a very long history.

"Czech" is not about Czechia. The word "Germany" in Polish is "Niemcy" which comes from the word "Niem", which means mute, speechless and "cy" from the word "obcy" which means "stranger" in English. The story is that when Poles first saw Germans they were not able to understand them.

2:24 obviously it's because I (Czech cat) took control of Germany without anyone knowing :)

Yes, we still use Latin names like Monachium (Muenchen), Moguncja (Mainz), Ratyzbona (Regensburg), Akwizgran (Aachen), Kolonia (Koeln), Kilonia (Kiel) etc. There are also some originally Polish cities like Chociebuż (Cottbus), Lipsk (Leipzig) or Łużyce (Lausitz) area. I heard that Germans really like it.

Hello Chris, I have visited Bavaria last year, it is very beautiful land. I had also little accident on the market in Munich where I lost my footnail😂. It was quite dramatic for a while due to blood fountain from my foot. I was very surprised how much Germans tried to help me. They gave me what they had, paper towels, water, dressing plasters and asked whether I am ok. They are nice people.

Bayern! ... Then I like Berlin but because of the sentiment. I used to live there for some time ;) German people are great.... It's crazy that it took 1000 years to see that we can live as the best neighbours ;D But actually on the humane level we lived very well for the most of our history :D A lot of Poles now have Germanic last names because their ancestors were Germanic settlers that went to Poland. A big part of the history. And both Saxony and Royal Prussia were a part or a kind of member of the Commonwealth :D BTW I love your channel :) As they said you seem to be a really nice guy 😁

A few months back I was on our S-Bahn (SKM in Poland but giving you the equivalence for what it is) in Tricity and I met an older German lady who was very confused about the ticket rules (I'll allow myself to be a bit stereotypical, but as a German yourself you can only imagine what kind of torture it must have been to not know the rules).

Granted, this line is weird as you have to validate your ticket on the departure platform BEFORE you get on the train (instead of what's common in Poland and to my experience in most of Europe either on board of the train/bus or not at all - when it's the conductor who validates it for you).

Seeing her confusion I helped her out (luckily her English was decent, my German is VERY rusty these days) and she was so appreciative and kind about it that I really felt as if I saved a world for a minute. And it was just a dumb ticket.

And she wasn't the first encounter of this kind for me either.

So yes, I can confirm that at least the travelling Germans I'm meeting here in Tricity are to my experience very nice and friendly people.

I've been to Berlin many times as I live closer to it than to Warsaw, I'm from Posen. Germans I know are not so different from Poles, You are a proud nation, good hearted people, friends of Poland, our neighbors. We have rich history, from emperor Otton who crowned first polish King, Bolesław, through minor and major conflicts, to todays friendship. No borders, no problems it seems.

20 years ago I was cycling after a German bicycle group of older people, some car on German plates driving from the opposite direction stopped and let them turn left and resumed driving before me (it was 20m gap between myself and the trip) - I didn't meet many Germans so I am surprised by the comments here.

What I appreciate most about Germany as country, is the ability to reflect on itself, to draw conclusions from the past. In the context of the history between our countries, this is something that allows Germany as a country to be better, and in the relations between the countries it builds a bridge to a common future. I really appreciate this openness to a common dialogue.

German tourists seem very nice and easygoing, they don't make a fuss or drama, they are really polite in tourist places.
I strongly wonder how ordinary Germans in Germany behave towards Poles, because I haven't had contact with many. Unfortunately my friends experienced racist behaviors from Germans towards them. I'm not negatively disposed because of this, but I'm just curious what my conclusions would be after spending a week in Germany.

As for cities, I would definitely like to visit Berlin - after all, it is the capital. I've been to Nuremberg and Munich, but those were very short visits in passing.
