Berkeley Lab Asks: What’s Your Favorite Element?

Did you know that the periodic table turned 150 this year? To celebrate the anniversary of Dmitri Mendeleev’s revolutionary scientific breakthrough, Berkeley Lab asked young attendees at the 2018 Bay Area Science Festival in San Francisco to tell us their favorite elements. The answers, given by elementary school kids to high school teens, assure us that the future of STEM is as bright as its illustrious past. What is your favorite element?
