This was very helpful, but the last answer for Simple Regression Analysis is incorrect, remember we cut of the 000'. So on the last stage for the cost of 850 we should use 8.5 and not the 850 as it is then in the end we multiply by 1000, the cost comes up to R90555 and not R38 611 to produce 850 units.

Let's say u hv been given the cost functions for variable cost and mixed costs how would you get the total cost function

I got a question.. What if the question given.. The lowest activity level being that 1100 but it has a bigger value on the other side.. Lets say it to be 1100 being the lowest level of activity corresponding with 13000 and still we have another Let's say to 1200 corresponding to 10, 000 what would you pick in such a situation????

This is good . However, minimizing values by putting zero in the table has denied you some accuracy. The correct answer should have been 90, 532.5. For Instance, if total cost at 500 units were 70, 000 and total cost at 700 was 80, 000 there is no way we can scale production to 850units and have a total cost at 38000
