I really enjoyed the Alex H posting you did. A concern of mine when it comes to creating my book, is that there are too many editors to think about. I know - it's one of the reasons behind using your company. There are just too many steps to wrap a mind around when you project manage your total book into the marketplace.

I was a project manager (PMP professional) for several years of my career. Very successful, but to be successful meant I needed to boil down the needed steps into something that was consumable by the stakeholders. They wanted the large pic - not the minute details. Again, a big reason for a company like yours.

Now besides the typical paperback, ebook route, coming on strong is A/I and Audio Books. Yet more steps in the project plan needing consideration.

And because of these steps, both time and cost are involved, steps that many authors do not want to expend the cost and time on. And that is reasoning why many authors take the route they do and publish without all of these steps. Mistakes - yes, but in the eyes of many authors, mistakes that might be worth the risk.

I just released audio version of my book. Glad I did not make that mistake! Would love to see a video of narrow versus wide publishing of audio books. I went narrow initially. Seems trickier than ebook distribution.

I clearly don't understand something about this process. When I go to these printer websites and ask for an estimate they start at about $10/book for 50 books. So how are you getting them at more like $5/book?
