I own a 2023 pro master 2500 and the 9 speed is actually a 7 speed. What I mean is the transmission never shifts into 8th or 9th gear. This means Higher rpm’s at highway speeds. Burns more gas.

Thanks Stephan, not much info on the 2023 Promaster, have yet to see a drivers test on the van. I hope Stillantis gets their act together because there are barely any 2023, s on the market and the wait times for ordering are an embarrassment.

Thing is 45 is pretty high for normal people trying to do vanlife 🤷🏾‍♀️ then you have to build in the insides. I think you're better off getting a used/ older model. I don't see that many benefits with this one

LMAO they should be banned from anywhere outside of major cities and only on dry summer roads . All the extras are more dangerous over 40 mph, on exit or entrance ramps , any amount of side wind will cut your power because of the lean of a high top, the 1 wheel drive is useless in snow, rain or mud basically anywhere it need it to go . The small car motor and transmission does not last long running at 7, 000 rpm trying to GET TO the speed limit in the 2500 chassis . It seriously needs all wheel drive or 4 x 4 and a 6.4 hemi if you want to use it to work .

My work just purchased Ram Promasters for us.These Van's are junk compared to the Ford Transit.Fords are way more comfortable and have more base options.Ford has a better motor and can carry more payload. YOU get what you pay for.

Can we trust this company to produce a quality EV van? The E-ducato has been pure dog shit so far. Well at least they can't screw up an engine block or transmission if there is not one right?? Seems they managed to screw up range, charging, wiring and suspension on those vans that will be introduce into US markets later this year. The only way I buy this van is with a free 10 year bumper to bumper .
