IMPORTANT:
The main purpose of this video is educational, i.e. to provide example situations for people who want to become pilots or air traffic controllers and to provide them with information. In addition, the aim here is to provide current pilots and air traffic controllers with access to radio conversations around the world so that they can think about how they should behave in situations they are likely to encounter in the future.

While preparing the content, I follow important aviation events and news from around the world. I check whether I can access the radio conversations by looking at the date and time zone of these events.

Then, I listen to the conversations over and over again to prepare subtitles and note down the relevant parts. Finally, I prepare an animation about the event and put it all together.

My heart goes out to the pilot’s family. You never know how you’ll react in an actual emergency. You can’t expect a student pilot to deal with an emergency like this, with so little experience to their name. So unfortunate. ❤️‍🩹

Possibly run away trim? Has that happened on cirrus b4?

Runaway trim in the cirrus was always a concern of mine. I made sure to know where the trim breakers were.

But even more than that, I was taught to use the parachute if I felt out of control.

Knowing all, ALL of the aircraft systems ( how to disable trim for instance) is the pilots responsibility. Run away trim is easily handled by pulling the circuit breaker, fuse. Manual trim control is then established. For any pilot to not know this as muscle memory is indicative that they should never be in that airplane until they are indeed proficient.
Sad that this accident happened, so preventable.

he probably use the trim wheel too much rotating it forward, if he applied excessive trim rotating it forward that would make him pitch downwards and that would cause him to nose dive into the ground and crash, thats probably what happened.

My question is why are you flying a fancy aircraft when you are a student pilot? lack of familiarity with the trim runaway procedure and the use of the parachute. Learn basic equipment, and then move to something advanced.
