I feel like many people would see this as a scary song but i feel like its more calming than anything. The eerieness makes it feel like ur on a foggy island and you hear a voice singing from the ocean. Or like the barrier between the living and the dead. Deep, i know but does anyone else understand?

It's about a surgeon who dreams of the same women every night. He's convinced she is someone he's met before, that she must live in the dreary city he calls home, somewhere out there.

Years pass, and she is always in his dreams where they've lived a thousand lives together. Eventually, when he's old and grey, he's driven mad by the pursuit of someone he can never find, he can never obtain, he can never hold, he starts to see her in every beautiful women he lays his eyes on.

He commits horrific murders of women all across the city taking the parts of their bodies he envisions as closely resembling that of the woman in his dreams. He stitches them all together, an amalgam of his victims; and brings the monstrous chimera of flesh to life in a crazed, maniacal, yet brilliant experiment.
