an animation that took me a bit too long to make but i'm really glad i finished it in time for the new year!!! and speaking of which, happy new year of 2023!!!!!! :)))

i have a lot of things to say about 2022, a lot of them just about how much i've grown in terms of art as well as music and seeing more people taking a liking to my work. i can safely say that i'm really proud of where i'm at art wise and i think i've improved a lot !!!! not only that, but my position today would not be possible without you guys, and i don't really know how to thank you enough. as cheesy as it sounds, i never really expected people to like what i put out there since a lot of them are just passion projects, not really stuff that i do only to follow trends and such. it's overall a very surreal but enjoyable experience!!! in a way i also feel super motivated when people like my work so that's also super nice :D :D i'm really excited to see how 2023 will turn out and i'll probably keep continuing to do what i've been doing 😎😎😎

Literally gave me goosebumps woah. From what I could gather, the story revolves around a girl who's murder case is unknown or provides little to no conclusion. The guy, desperate wants to know who the girl is because she may or may not be haunting his dreams. It could also represent his desperation to solve the said case and find who the killer was. When he saw her he ran, eventually getting killed by a truck. But by then he finally somewhat "found out" who she was.

Truck kun always manages to make his way into every popular animation.

So wt I can interpret from the animation is that the guy is to meet the girl who is across the road. But the killer is behind her who stabs her to death. The guy hvng witnessed that runs after her but the signal turns green and the truck hits him. Now he has lost all memories of this incident.
After the accident, the girl keeps appearing in his dreams, haunting him. He is frustrated bcz he can't identify the girl from his dreams.
Apparently he's a detective and the current case almost seems hopeless. The case in which the girl gets stabbed by the killer and the killer is still unknown. No one even knows who the girl is thus the Jane doe.
Eventually he dozes off while thinking abt the case and all the memories of the incident come rushing to him. He finally remembers who the girl is.
He gathers his team to apprehend the killer and the killer is shot. Dead. I guess.
And now he's at his knees. Grieving her death.

from what i have gathered
It is about a detective who is solving a muder case of a woman, this murderer might be one of the popular ones cause of the many open files related to murder.
there are chances that this detective has knows the girl, or used to know the girl thus the haunting memories.
deep in his thoughts he hallucinated and ran on the road and got hit by a truck, during that carrot showed all the memories.
we saw that they had actuall caught the killer but he couldnt kill him because of his squad mates holding him back, thus the regret that he couldnt avenge the girl, he slowly turned into a shell, eyes bleeding just showed how much he had cried.
Tear of blood.
The end panel just showed his dead body with blood leaking. A scene which captured death elegantly.
This was my first time watching carrots videos and its fucking beautiful.

While the case continues, without knowing the killer Every time I try to think of that woman's face It made him remember more events. It was such a painful memory. Although he can help relieve the case, but with memory loss That face had always haunted his memory.

I love the scene at 1:50, where it's all monochrome in the cloudy backdrop except for the deep blue sky and their blue eye. Blue is a calming color, and clouds are often beautiful. But this scene is still full of unease. It's like the calming colors are lying to you. Trying to make you feel safe just to get your guard down. And just as quickly as it came, it's gone, and what comes next is harsh, painful and red, but true. Maybe it was better to revel in the lie while you still had it. the comfort was fake, but it was there nonetheless.
