For everyone talking about bugging out... you'll never be able to transport enough water, food and supplies to stay alive! If you're plan is to bug out you must have a preplanned location easily and rapidly accessible fully stocked! Im guessing that for most people if you have to bug out, you probably dont have a stocked shelter either 🤔

My husband was trained during the cold war in Switzerland. The safest way to go outside is, with protected gear and to go back inside you need a room to be cleaned from contaminated clothing etc. So it is not that simple!

This is for everyone! I have a duel filter MSA gas mask. When I started looking for filters for it I felt like I just started school again. For a box of 10 were almost 300 USD 7 years ago. I'm always want to learn everything I can about every thing I care about. I asked the life of the filters. Thinking I would never need filters again. I was told by the filter company that once the filters were exposed to anything harmful that the filter is only good for 8 hours. It starts breaking down even if its a quick in and out situation.

All these scenarios assume a "one and done" attack, they do not factor in an extended period. If an enemy got the upper hand and really wanted to destroy a country, they could launch secondary attacks two, four, 12 weeks later and keep everting in a constant state of irradiation, condemning everyone to death.

Only those outside of fallout areas would survive.
