Madeline is perfectly showing here why a lot of companies purposefully have low stock to seem like they or certain items are really popular lol

I am old enough to remember when leather outfits were all the rage and a necessary ensemble for a Jackson’s concert. I think marketing is genius. Back then you would not be caught dead in a “pleather” outfit. It was crinkled, smelled bad and cheap looking. Now they have been rebranded as “vegan leather” and people are buying them at record speed!

Pink Lily is based in the town I live, and after seeing the absolutely ridiculous mansion the owners just built, it reaffirmed my lack of desire to check them out. LOL

Love you both!!!! You should do an episode where you try Etsy dresses! ❤

My thing with boutiques is that you would think they’re more ethical but in reality they drop ship from places like Ali Express or Shein

My issue with Lucky in the Sky is they only cater to standard sizes. I am typically a large to an XL, mainly because I have a larger chest, so I ordered some of their dresses in an XL for an event that I had but none of them came even close to fitting me. I have one of the dresses to one of my friends who is a size small and it fit her almost perfectly. They have very cute stuff but they really need to work on their sizing.

I got my grad dress from Lucy In The Sky! Had it for 2 years and not only do I get a ton of compliments every time I wear it but the quality holds up over time! Always recommend it as an insta brand you can actually trust :)

Pink Lily has some good items at different times of the year. The only complaint i have about your review is that the brand seems to be made for mamas and a lot of us have the mama pooch so if the high waist is too small then the jeans aren’t as comfortable 🤷🏻‍♀️

I liked the outfits from Lucy in the Sky on both of you. The second shop is so not my style, and I feel the vegan leather pants needed support in the seams, because you could see the stitches, and that's a sure sign they're not gonna last many wears. The third shop, I immediately thought, these are what I consider "normal" clothes for very regular people, not particularly fashion forward, but everyday clothes, for the days when you want to feel comfortable and still cute and maybe not make a statement. Even if I don't usually choose where I shop with looking normal in mind, I think that is something refrrshing these days, when everything is a little over-the-top fashion forward.

As someone who used to work at pink Lily. The toxic environment is real. Workers talk crap about their customers sometimes. I will say they are respectful when it comes to returns and from a consumer perspective it is nice. The size inclusivity needs to change though. Often clothes didn’t fit me because I wasn’t big enough, but the worst problem with inclusivity is with the plus sized women who come in wanting to feel beautiful but aren’t able to shop Pink Lily because the biggest size we carry in store is 2x and biggest online is 3x

And side note- you can’t tell me a multimillion dollar company can’t pay their employees over $9 an hour… that’s better than lots of jobs, and it was an easy job, but that’s not a real living wage for anyone
