i find that using extender boards put a lot of excess stress on the contacts, so the spring action get buggered and contact errors start to appear.

i would not plug the zapper in to my phone, as to get a shock some current must flow, to flow there must be a return connection back to the phone. which i expect will be a capacitive connection via some part of the phone case. so you will be in affect spiking your own phone in random places as the current tries to return to the source.

The wee rubbers for the sealant nozzles aren't a game changer. I found you have to make sure you pull it down tight and evacuate as much air as possible and even then over time there's still an issue. Hmmm, a rubber band around them might help.
