Harrowing bodycam shows inside Gene Hackman's hoarder home

Harrowing bodycam footage has revealed Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa's hoarder home, with one of their beloved dogs found a mere few feet from the actor's wife's remains.

Bodycam footage shows officers pacing through rooms of the multi-million-dollar property, with many of the couple's personal belongings out on show.

It's strange how he left his fortune to his wife and none to his children? If she wouldn't have died then she would have inherited his fortune....his kids hadn't seen him in a year??🤔

We don’t know anything about what the children knew of his health declining. Betsy, and I’m not judging her, but the state of her bathroom shows a woman trying to keep everything together while falling apart on the inside. they were worth a lot of money and could’ve had help come. She could’ve reached out to the children and said she needed assistance. She could’ve told anybody that she was in over her head. We’ll never know what happened, but we can guess that his declining health, the size of the property and three big dogs was too much for her to care for and her health suffered, leaving her open to her own Illnesses to deal with. If there is a lesson to be learned here always have a back up plan for if something should ever happen to you while you have Pets and an incapacitated family member living in the home with you, especially if you are a private person who doesn’t want to be bothered.

Very old age is a life equalizer.. sadly not a friendly one. Does not matter how rich you are, if your body shuts down. It is not unjust, but often very cruel.

Gene a great actor, but had difficulties fitting into Hollywood rich upper crust scene...due to childhood trauma....poverty and abandonment. He didn't want to become one of them. Gene was an introvert. Introverts value privacy, space, nature, animals, and isolation.

People forget when you get old/ill you can't always physically keep up with things, and you reach a point where just been alive is more important than the things around you. If you're faced with a close shave you realise material items mean nothing, can't take them with you when you go. People need to be more helpful, and compassionate. In the passed I've heard people complain about a person's home, so instead of gossiping offer help, or helpful organisations that can help them. They had the money to get help, but sometimes people don't want strangers coming in, and try look after themselves. Sometimes children should do more after all they gave life to you. It's sad when families don't get on.

It's kind of distasteful to show this, but it is a useful cautionary tale. A lot of old people live in borderline squalor due to their hoarding tendencies, with the attendant tripping/fire/rodent hazards. As I keep telling my aging mother - 'Toss it OUT. The garbage man is your friend!'

Revered as an actor as he was, there is still a lesson to be learned here... for all the oversensitive, skinny latte drinking, safe space needings college students. Your actions, or inactions have consequences and you have to accept that you reap what you sow! Why that is such a difficult concept for anyone over the age of 5 is beyond me, yet here we are, with many millions that are argue day is night and vice versa!

he was rich, why didn't he or his wife, paid for someone, to take care of them, absolutely ridicilous, Gene Hackman was a good actor, but terrible father and husband, he got what he deserved, and i am not sorry to say this
