Great video, welcome to the world of Chinese mobiles! Btw the display timeout is stupidly placed in the Lock screen & password settings menu. Under sleep. MIUI has some things like, it used to be in display on MIUI 7 but thye moved it for some stupid reason.

Nice review, as usual. I test drove a Xiaomi Mi 5 on MIUI 7 and MIUI 8 for a month. I was really impressed. I almost kept it - I'm in the US and wasn't getting LTE on my carrier and that's the only reason why I sold it. Xiaomi makes good phones. I'm looking forward to seeing you review more of the Chinese OEMs as they're doing some really good stuffs...

I loved the note 2 redmi. my daughter has it now. Over a year now still running fast and beautiful camera pics and display. Helio X10 is killer

Glad to see your review on the Xiaomi.. I'm rooting for them to be a big player. I have the Xiaomi Yi action cam and like their products. The new Ti action cam is apparently better than the much more pricey GoPro.. They use Sony sensors in their action cams, wonder if they do the same for their phones...

There are tons and tons of customisation and the features present in MIUI 8 probably no other software offers till date
and the screen timeout is in lockscreen and password settings
Better check the whole MIUI 8 software
the dual apps, second space, long screenshots and many more which are awesome

the settings for when the display would turn off is found in the lock screen part of the settings and not in the display part.

Damir do you know is there a version of this phone with helio x20 processor, 3 gb of RAM and 32 gb of ROM ? I have seen this version on some sites but not on any official site . I have seen it on HonorBuy and some other retailers . Is this some fake stuff or is there really this mentioned above version of this phone really available

Thank you for the review. Currently looking at a new phone in the sub 200 market which has a fingerprint reader and this one looks like a very good candidate for that. Your review has answered most of my questions, except for one: Does the fingerprint reader has features like what the Honor 5C has?

the display timeout will be available in lock screen and notification option in settings

Hi Damir, there are 2 holes between USB port, the speaker would be the right side for very obvious reason. What about the hole that located at left side of USB port? Is that a microphone ?

Bro redmi note 4 and honor 6x which is better in term of battery life and you plz sugest which phone i would buy.
