Sad news, Matt, (one of the movers [in the white tank top] from the commercial) passed away today. He was driving home a few nights ago from his job in another town and fell asleep at the wheel. He was 22, has a 3 mth old son, and was to be married this week.

Matt is one of "the movers" (in the white tank top) he passed away a couple of mths ago. He was a part of the Cullman Liquidation family for quite some time. He fell asleep at the wheel leaving his other job. He was a kind hearted guy who is missed greatly.

I just want you guys to know that this commercial inspired me back in 2011 to write a novel about a kid from Cullman who gets sucked into an international crisis and has to use his Southern chutzpa to outsmart the CIA, save his pa, and bring peace to Cullman. That book caught the eye of a literary agent and then later a publisher and it came out from Simon & Schuster in 2014: The Troubles of Johnny Cannon. So, thank you guys, y'all inspired me to make my dream come true and change my life forever!

I grew up in Cullman, and was flipping through random Youtube videos JUST NOW in 2021 and was like... is that Rhett and Link? I remembered this video being popular when I was in high school, but didn't realize it was RHETT and LINK. My entire life is a lie.

I'm from Huntsville and this video made our local news a few weeks ago. They said that the guy's business increased exponentially after this commercial. It was really cool to find out that Rhett and Link had a part in it because I've driven by that place a hundred times.
