In my Opinion he is one of a few Characters who are the face of a Franchise Vader and Spiderman might be great Characters but there are also many other Great Characters who can compare with them. And its not like no other Character in Pirates of the Caribean is good or great Will Turner: Great Development and Story, Davy Jones: Fantastic Villain good Story mysterious Character, Elizabeth: Also Great Development one of the best Women Characters in Fiction if not even the best and Barbossa who was agreat Villain in the first Movie who has a good Relationship with Jack and teh Black Pearl. And these Character can be compared to Characters like Obi Wan, Anakin, and I would even go so far to say that they can be compared to Batman, Spiderman and Vader. This Franchise is so underrated and deserves so much more Attention.
