This remains one of my favorite Beatles songs. In my opinion, this "B" side is better than the "A" side Eight Days a Week.

I love your lessons Mike. I've been a Beatles fan all of my life ( and I'm 68) but I especially love the early days. This was one of my many favorites. Thanks for taking the time to chart this out.

This is the song that got me learning guitar in 1988. My college roommate was a music major at Indiana University. He played this on his acoustic. And he must have played it for me hundreds of times. He finally handed me his guitar and said you learn it. I did although very poorly. This is in my top 5 maybe top 3 favorite Beatles songs. I don’t believe John wrote this as an upbeat track. I think he wrote it slow as a lament but who knows. I now fingerpick a slow version of this. Thanks Mike! You are the best! I love everything about this song. Another outstanding version as well!

A childhood favorite, both from "Beatles VI" and the "Eight Days a Week" flip. Still my favorite track on both albums it appears on, a longtime favorite strum-along, and- needless to add- I've been gettin' it all wrong. Thanks for straightenin' me out, MP!

My highest regards to Mike Pacelli, and of course the young Beatles, for their attention to detail. Particularly Mike's . A lifelong devotee & affectianado myself, Mike has dialed me in.
Only now after 50 years can I say, thanks to Mike's help, that I can play Beatle's music very well & 'note for note'. 😅 Thank you Mike . Ronnie

The EQ boost on George's guitar is around 2k or 2, 5k. In fact, I ripped the sound from your video when you played the solo and gave a 15db boost on both 2k and 2, 5k and BINGO: George's typical Beatles For Sale sound as if by magic!!!
Yes, I'm a bit obsessed with George's sound with the Gretsch guitar on that album, as you can see. And thank you for teaching another lovely Beatles song. I've been learning a lot! Thank you so much.

It's a long time since I learned to play this but I remember in the acoustic intro bending the F up towards the F sharp then E on the D string - sounds more 'C&W' to me - but perhaps my memory is faulty - must go and check. Love your attention to detail showing how the parts interlock 🙂

High quality breakdown and performance. Mike reserves deserved praise for George and has done it many times - which is great. I’ve noted Mike’s comment on the mixing - in general on many Beatle tracks. Thanks again

😅I have that 45! Eight Days A Week/I Don't Want to Spoil The Party. I must have been about 5 years old when my Mom bought it for me. Thanks to Mike, now 58 years later and retired, I learned to play Eight Days a Week and will learn I Don't Want To Spoil The Party as well. LOL, one of my circles of life closing. Thanks Mike!

The soundalike is superb Mike :) I loved this song immediately on hearing it when i was a kid. the chord structure around the "I still love her" was pure Beatles.

Mike, thank you for another great Beatles tune. It is obvious, that you have fun performing it. George's guitar part is absolutely great, I really love it. Amazing work. My respect for George's tasty and song supporting guitar play grows with every song!

Another outstanding lesson by a music genius, Mike. I love the way you present the lessons. This one is not easy but you make it look so easy. I especially love the way you put it all together at the end. I would need a hundred takes to get it right. Thank you for sharing all your hard work with us Beatles fans. You are a gem.
