Hi Brien, ..I devoted to this topic:..age, construction methods, purpose of Valley, Sphinx, Mortuary temples, ...next to Sphinx, Chaphre pyramid, .. too. Valley, Sphinx temples are situated quite low, ..cca 19m above sea level, Nile is cca 15m above sea level in this area.. Overflooding from Nile river, ..sometime till cca 20m was possible at Sphinx area, but not at Mortuary temple, at 3 Giza pyramids, which are cca 50m, 60m above sea level. Erosion of all temples is but very high, ..like at Malta limestone megalitic temples, ..which are till 7000y.old, ..but in much wetter humid conditions with lot of rains. Giza megal. temples so must by older than those megal temples on Malta, .. Valley temple was used for delivery of water from Nile (with added some modulation light, signal) and from, ...other source, to Mortuary temple. There were constructions next to this temple used like parabolic mirrors, antenas (even could be used such shapes of sides of Chaphre, ..pyramid). Those constructions, .. concentrated Sun light to special place in Mortuary temple. It worked like EDFA-Erbium doted fiber optic amplifier on optical waveguides. That input signal from entrance of Valley temple was very amplified. There were filtering, coupling mixing, ...rooms, ..like electronic, waveguide circuits. There was process of electrolyse of water due to light energy, which was appropriate modulated, pulsed and hydrogen, protons were used in pyramids, where they were accelerated and beamed to sky. If the "erosion" on the pillars was caused by water, there would be at least a stand line on the walls at the same level.
More likely, some information has been "erased" from the pillars.

I watched another video with someone sneaking around a restricted part of the ruins. Looked like a 2nd but very damaged; almost like someone tried blowing it up. 2nd sphinx or not, I bet there's more ways into the access tunnels. Speculations aside, this video was informative, thank you
