Hi, it is true that the "Strange Days" 50th Anniversary edition hasn't been released in this hard cover vinyl+CDs version? It seems to be the only album without this format, so I have all the LPs, but this one. I don't understand why.. I read somewhere that some customers complaints the fact that they wasn't interested in the vinyl after the first album was released (vinyl + 3 CDs), so the Strange Days 50th Anniversary has been splitted in two separate versions, with the mono version of the vinyl and the double CD in digipack version, with the mono and stereo version of the album. Next December 3 will be released the last one, L.A. Woman. Pity don't own all six in the same format, hard cover vinyl + 3 CDs.
Pity not to have all the six album in the same 50th format, it's a wasted occasion to produce something great in the right way. Now I'm looking for the whole discography in the Analogue Production 45rpm version, it's seems to be the better vinyl ever produced. Will see.
The Doors are the biggest band ever of the whole music scene.

I have all the Doors lps, vinyl, except the live album. This l.p., Morrison Hotel, is great, also the cover, inside and out, is a work of art. Tremendous photography. Mine is more than 40 yrs old, it is immaculate, could be sold as a new l.p. if put in a record shop. It looks brand new.
