yep the battlers are pretty popular over here in australia i own one and mostly use it for throwing spinner baits and bigger surface lures chasing murray cod its a awesome reel imo and a friend has the morethan

I have the battler tw, not the best caster but most amazingly smooth reel you can feel.

Aussie dom market, saltwater Barramundi reels, the Morethan PE and Battler are tuned Zillions, the HRF is a tuned Tatula, still not the refinement of the OG Zillions IMO, cheers for the reviews bro.

American thrives off Silvermax's and cheap Lew's reels it seems to me. Some of my friends have $50, 000 boats, $7, 500 electronics, nice truck, and $50 baitcast combo's. I always assume they ran out of money, till duck season where they spend tons of money to only go a few times a year. Not sure while expensive fishing tackle hasn't caught on, my wife and I love fishing with nicer equipment, it just really makes the whole angling experience better...

Maybe a lot of US fishing people over here, just care about decent working reels, rather than flashy looks. I am perfectly satisfied with those "boring" black rubber, stock knobs, on my Tatula ct lol. Then again, some guys, will change out the parts on their stock reels, with flashy whatever parts, and do it themselves. I won't be bothered, to spend 20$ a piece on a single knob handle, for a reel though. I'd rather be concerned with the lures I use, being flashy instead.

Japanese anglers seem to take a lot of pride in the gear they use. Everything from the baits to the rod and reel can be considered works of art. Most American anglers don’t care about aesthetics. They just want to catch fish and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, they miss out on a much more enjoyable fishing experience in my opinion. I’ve had people make negative remarks about the gear I use because it’s too “fancy” for catching bass. I like to think they’re just jealous though.

You gotta check daiwas global site for their Korean reels. They are insane and so specific to fish species!

Maybe you can check Daiwa south east asia Facebook. I have the Daiwa Tatula Yellow, they are the same as the standard Type-R only the colour is different. The price of the Yellow Tatula is $221.00 Singapore dollar.

The Morethan is actually easily available on the German market. Hasn't been for too long and it's, like you already pointed out, really expensive. So, sorry, can't even afford it to send to you :^)
