Bash first, before anything else! Python next

What do you mean by basic? Like knowing what integer means or being able to write working scripts? Is this for powershell, linux, and python?

I know Python to some extent and have written some basic tools like keyloggers and backdoors, does that make learning powershell or bash easier?

Bash, as a language, sucks. Piping is cool, but that’s it. It’s the gnu core lib that is powerful. I find myself jumping to Python once I’ve hit the second or third call to xargs in a single expression

uses behind powershell, but i hate it. right up there with vim.. i'll stick to bash and python. i do like how much easier bash seems to be for scriting then dos was. i mean can even do for loops on a cli prompt. weird functionality but the fact it's there keeps me there.

Powershell makes a great wrapper for payload.

When you talk about baah, there are essentially two modes: Interactive and scripted.

You absolutely have to learn how to use interactive mode. Learn which tools do what and how to get stuff done.

When it comes to scripts, try to keep it simple. As soon as you feel like you have to parse data structures or such, you should probably be writing Python.
