This method is good and easy. Thanks for sharing! But from my opinion z-depth gives more flexibility in situation where you need to have opportunity to tune DOF on postproduction.

in camera DOF makes the render terribly slow, especially if you have a slower machine. and u cant change the focus later. i use Z depth pass and Frischluft Lenscare with PS.
