The 9 pumps of vanilla syrup reminded me of this one regular I have 😭 she always orders a venti oat milk latte with 10 pumps of brown sugar (and it was before we switched the brown sugar to a half pump so it was really like 20 pumps) and without fail everytime “I’m sorry this doesn’t taste like oat milk can you remake it?” And she’ll even send her kids into the store to tell us to remake it if they already left 😭 hate her

When I worked at Starbucks I would “prank” my coworkers when I was on the till, so, for example, when I would ask what the customers name is and they would respond “Uhhh Toby” I would put on the order “Uhhhtoby” I never got caught 😎

My name is basic and common enough on purpose solely so the jaded barista at Starbucks who hears 100 "unique" white names a day doesnt spell it wrong and it's usually ⅚ of the correct letters, i call that a win

I don’t like my name messed up and I am really bad at ordering like ok the spot so I usually just use the starbucks app and online order. I try my best to always say thank you. Baristas are the people who usually make my day. Sometimes my week.
