Almost like he has high base damage, high enough sustain to tank through mage poke in lane phase, good cc, hard counter most low cc melee mid lane assassin/skirmishers, better gank assist than most mid laners, good waveclear, and above average roaming

Notably aswell something not talked about here is that these picks can also be a single player or a small group of players only playing these picks in certain matchups as counterpicks. Meaning they only see play when the time is right. So they can be incredibly op and powerful but potentially only when the time is right.

He has no attrition due to using health to cast abilities, but also healing whenever he lands abilities and picks up blobs. The issue is that people are bad at positioning to deal with his minigame of destroying the blobs while also fighting him *and* farming. It's like fighting Fiora, but instead of taking damage because you fail the minigame, the enemy heals and undoes your progress. For free. At least with Fiora, she'll eventually be forced to back because of mana.

They are strong because you haven't gutted their waveclear and are enabled to roam. Talon was the same a long time ago, but you eviscerated his waveclear and can't really impact other lanes as much.

Meanwhile Singed can push literally every mage under tower before like level 5.
