Ally,

Here’s a general tip for Living Social and Groupon. I usually try and call before I go or speak to person there. Tell them you could buy one but prefer to give them the whole price if they match the price. They always say “Yes” because it saves them a lot of money.

After the deal gives you 25-60% off, they then have to pay Living Social and Groupon a very hefty fee. These deals are often a loss leader and if you don’t come back, they lost money. This way, the still love you and know that you are helping them too.

Wow! I currently have a reservation to visit in April and checked the current price for my stay. I saw that it was cheaper and called the hotel and got the price adjusted. A little over $100 dlls saved in 5 minutes! Thank you!!!

Just finished our great breakfast at Ocean One! We have been talking about how helpful your Vegas videos are. We’ve been plenty of times before, but it feels great to same some money in a very expensive town! Thank you!

I just subbed. I love how you’re not like those other Vegas bloggers and you’re more outside of the box. Excited to see where this channel goes!!

Great video...One thing no one ever says is that you should watch prices on drinks in those cheap breakfast places! The drinks (coffee and juice) can cost more than your meal!

This vlog is extremely well put together and helpful. Thank you.

excellent video, thanks. WE are going to Vegas at the end of Sept and I am looking for hidden gems and cheaper eating. When we went in 2017 (last time before that was 2003), it was sticker shock. Vegas was so much better when the Mob controlled everything. You could eat and sleep really cheap.

Aly, Thank you for some REAL savings tips. I found your video very useful and informative. I have been to Las Vegas about 50 times (returning again this August) and learned many things that I didn't know that will keep more money in my pocket. Who am I kidding by the time I leave there will be no money in my pocket! I love this place!!

Congratulations and Well done on making the best video on Youtube on Vegas Money Saving Tips, I have seen lots of videos but this one is exceptional, thanks for keeping it real . This video is a must watch and can save you hundreds or at least provide you with a much better travel experience to Vegas. Arriving early in the morning, leaving your bags at the bell desk and exploring Vegas literally gives you an extra day without an expensive hotel stay just to sleep in a room.

Thank you for your time and posting. Great information and well edited. And thank you for letting us know it is important to be polite. You're the first to mention this. But of course, you're Canadian. :) Just moved to Henderson for more pickleball, better eating establishments, and warmer weather than Oregon. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the tips! The CNF fee and, most importantly, getting any cheaper hotel rates after making the initial reservation when booked directly. I booked 2wks ago for Nov'22 and re-checked the rates today, called the hotel for the newer lower rate, and saved $250 off the total stay! Will rewatch before our trip for a refresher. Thank you!

Great tips. I also think people need to be realistic when coming to Vegas, as well. I've noticed the prices on everything (**i.e. food, resort fees, shows, etc.) have dramtically gone up in Vegas since at least around 2018-2019. So, for those that have not been to Vegas in over 5 years or so, are in for some serious sticker shock. The only prices that have remained stable are the minimums at the tables and slot machines.

Love Vegas! It’s my husband and I favorite vacation destination. We have been 9 times over the last 3 years and have never paid for a room at the Delano with the Mlife Rewards program. Each trip we are rewarded with 4 more comp nights so we plan our next vacay while we’re there lol. We would love to stay at a nicer hotel but the Delano is 5star when it’s FREE lol. We also love the casino at Mandalay Bay which is convenient.
