Fifty Wolves Howling

Nikai is a captive-born gray wolf at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. He is one of the three 'ambassador wolves' at the WCC that help teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

So strange how literature portrays howling as sad or hunting wolf behavior. The wolves here howl a lot and I haven't yet seen one looking in canine distress or cunning. They howl like I put on clothes every day. Just a wolf doing a wolf thing, in which ever mood for which ever reason.
